[VIRTUAL] Magical Girls & Fighting Dreamers: An Exploration of Queer Representation in Manga & Anime

Virtual Program intended for Teens and Adults.  Parents/Guardians encouraged to join their teens.

Morrill Memorial Library of Norwood, MA's Youth Services Librarian, Dina Delic will be presenting "Magical Girls and Fighting Dreamers: An Exploration of Queer Representation in Manga & Anime" via Zoom.

Dina will be sharing the history and overview of queer representation in various series such as The Rose of Versailles to Yuri On Ice

Program will not be recorded.

Attendees will not be allowed to turn on video feed, microphone, nor participate in private chats for the safety of an age blended audience. 

Note: This program may contain spoilers for some series.

Dina is a Youth Services Librarian at the Morrill Memorial Library in Norwood who loves attending conventions, running around Jo-Ann Fabrics for her next cosplay, and reading manga. D. Gray-man, Fruit Baskets, HunterxHunter, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventures are a few of her favorite manga.
