A Visit with The Beer Can Museum

Monday, April 297:00—8:00 PMCommunity Meeting RoomBoyden Library10 Bird Street, Foxborough, MA, 02035

Join The Beer Can Museum curator, Kevin Logan, as he talks about the history of beer cans, and different marketing strategies over the years as he shows some examples of the changes in packaging over time.   A pop up museum will have examples of the earliest cans including some vintage cans from local breweries like Narragansett and Haffenreffer, as well as later innovations in can development throughout the 20th century.  This is one program that promises to be unique!

The Beer Can Museum is a collection of more than 5,000 different beer cans, along with beer can folk art and crafts, beer can clothing, beer can telephones and radios, and a beer can and breweriana-related library. In November 2013, the museum was included in Travel & Leisure's list of 'America's Strangest Museums.'
