Writers of all genres and levels of experience are invited to form a community of writers committed to craft and life-long learning.
Mission: Foster a supportive group setting where writers freely share their work and insights with one another.
Values: Empathy informs our interactions and our writing. We are collectively committed to creating a safe place to nurture our diverse writing talents.
Meeting structure:
- Each meeting will start with an ice-breaking exercise or a writing exercise.
- Facilitated group discussion about the submitted work or works including time for the writer to ask questions about the feedback, if applicable.
- Time permitting, a quick roundtable to discuss goals for the coming weeks, or challenges with respect to writing.
This group will be facilitated by Suzanne Sobol Case:
Suzanne has a lifelong passion for the written word. A self-identified 'bibliobanker', Suzanne gave a TED Talk about the power of literature to positively influence financial services and the world at large. Suzanne spent most of her career as a banking executive and currently serves in a C-suite role in the manufacturing firm she co-founded. Suzanne writes daily, reads deeply and is excited to help nurture a new community of writers.
